My birthday is 10 days away, on the 29th. And who knows, friends may ask me for what I want when my birthday rolls around. I did a similar list for Christmas last year.

Everyday poetry, poetry for every day. The only things left to say. Friday, October 13, 2017. It was at a time that I was feeling dry, creatively, when the call for new fiction from Bookbed. I signed up right away because I needed a writing boost. The 5K to 7K word requirement was challenging but not overwhelming. But what to write about? I wanted to write ab.

FIELD TRIPS to the REAL WORLD. On writing, the Philippines, and other adventures. Some years ago, when I was a student in England, I was living in a somewhat creepy mansion-turned student hall with many students who came from different countries. We each had our own rooms, but we shared common areas like the kitchen where we cooked our meals, the laundry.

I truly am sorry for not being responsive on those emails, you lovely authors. Truthfully, and shamefully as well, I am not a very tech-savvy person. Having my privacy touched by somebody else left me without a choice but to accept my defeat. However, that was all in the past. Suffice to say, I have learned from that mistake and never will I let that happen again.
